Welcome to the Greenhouse Movement, where we are following the Holy Spirit together for the spontaneous expansion of God’s Church. Our primary focus is on catalyzing mission efforts within the Anglican Church of North America, which we do through 3 main areas: equipping Christian leaders for vocational ministry, planting congregations among the unchurched, and pioneering innovative ministry networks.

What is Launch Week?

Launch Week is the starting place for Greenhouse regional leaders, mission staff, church planters, lay pastors, and interns. The Launch Week schedule includes prayer and worship, vision and values, testimonies from and connection with key leaders, and critical training sessions on ministry skills and Ministry Partner Development (MPD).

Ministry Partner Development is the core process Greenhouse mission staff use to raise funds for salary and ministry expenses. During MPD training, new mission staff will learn how to share a clear, concise, and compelling story that includes a personal testimony, the needs of a mission field, the Gospel, and a direct ask for partnership.  MPD trainings are always taught by seasoned employees who have successfully raised funds themselves.

We designed Launch Week for those who have applied, interviewed, and been offered a position with Greenhouse, and the full week is required for anyone joining mission staff and raising support.  For them, the first day of Launch Week is typically considered the first day of employment.

What is Explore Greenhouse?

The Explore Greenhouse Weekend will take place during 2-3 days of the longer Launch Week, and includes all of the benefits of Launch Week except for the more extensive MPD training, which is specifically tailored for new employees.

The Explore Greenhouse Weekend is open to all those who are interested in discerning deeper connection with Greenhouse.  Explore Greenhouse is the perfect opportunity for a broader circle of leaders, friends, and partners to connect with the Greenhouse vision and culture.  If you’re not sure that you fit into any of those categories, we still think you might, and would invite you to “Come and see.”
