What began as a move to Los Angeles for Eric to join the Los Angeles Philharmonic turned into a call for both he and his wife Dedra to serve the Lord in the Los Angeles Crescenta Valley Area. After realizing that all his plans were failing, Eric finally followed the Lord’s leading into ministry in 2016. He is now serving as a youth pastor and moving through the process for ordination in the LA Deanery of the Diocese of Western Anglicans.
Dedra has been serving in women’s ministry for eight years, leading a parachurch Bible study class plant that became an official women’s and children’s in-depth Bible study class in January of 2020. She now serves as the Teaching Director there, and continues to minister in various ways alongside Eric.
Both Eric and Dedra have a passion to serve their Savior Jesus Christ in any way that He calls them, and are excited to see where their ministry journey is taking them together in this new season of Eric’s ordination process. They have been married since 1998 and are blessed with two amazing kids, Rachel and Sam. Their favorite things include summer road trips throughout the US, hiking together, family movie night, and being and sharing Jesus with those around them.
