Fr. Jens and Karen serve with Greenhouse in Whitewater, Wisconsin, leading the Immanuel family of churches. Their hope is to build and multiply the household of God, raising up new congregations and reaching and discipling people far from God to become lifelong missionaries. They have a special heart for campuses, care facilities, and the people of Wisconsin’s beautiful countryside.
Jens and Karen were married in July 2015. Jens grew up on a dairy farm in south central Wisconsin, and before moving back to his home state he helped grow the Cornerstone Parish of congregations on the north side of Chicago. Karen is from Oak Park, IL, and worked for 10 years as a high school math teacher while volunteering with Young Life before joining Jens on mission and starting their family. Jens and Karen love homeschooling and spending time with their five beautiful children, Wilma, Anders, Nels, Peder, and Orlow.
